ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION
On Sunday, September 20, 2026 we celebrated 20 years of pastor Kelvin en Ria serving as pastors of this church. In this time we have seen God's faithfulness and grace at work. It was a beautiful celebration with lots of song, dance, a sketch of the history of the church and of course wonderful food fellowship. Please watch the video for an impression:
we enjoyed a beautiful family day!
The annual Family Day is for everyone at LifeWord: young, old, single, married, with or without kids, everyone is welcome!
On Saturday, July 4, we gathered once again at korfball club Koveni in Nieuwegein South. With lovely weather and fun activities, everyone had a great time. The children had their own program and a bouncy castle, the teenagers a dance workshop, and everyone could sit back and relax and chat on the terrace. In the afternoon, there was an exciting football tournament on the adjacent field of V.v. Parkhout, which was eventually won after a penalty shootout. Fortunately, everyone could then gather fraternally at the table for a BBQ meal, and all the commotion was resolved. What a beautiful way to celebrate that we are one family together through faith in Jesus Christ.

We chose Proverbs 21:31 as the Bible scripture voor 2026:
The horse is prepared for the day of battle, but deliverance and victory belong to the Lord. (AMP) You can pick up a printed version of the scripture card from CenterPoint. And you can download a background for your smartphone here (de Nederlandse versie staat hier: Home). |

MEET THE PASTOR
Pastor Kelvin Onyema: "I have a passion for seeing lives changed through the sound teaching of the pure Word of God, with humor and enthousiasm. I believe that change begins from the inside. I also have a strong passion for leadership. I have ministered in many churches and seminars in The Netherlands and travelled to many countries teaching in conferences, seminars and crusades."
