Our yearly Family Day will take place on Saturday, July 6th, 2024. The location is Korfbalvereniging Koveni in Nieuwegein, where we will enjoy fun activities, football, good food and most of all good fellowship! There is a special program for the children.

On this page you will find all the information you need. Please sign up no later than June 23th in church or by sending an e-mail.

price per person

Included in this price: coffee/tea upon arrival, lunch, snacks and a BBQ dinner.

how to sign up

We need you to sign up so that we know how much food to prepare! Please sign up no later than Sunday, June 23.
There is two ways to register:

• You can register at the Center Point in church after the service,
  
• or send an e-mail to [email protected]. Please include the name and age of those you are signing up. You will receive an e-mail in reply with payment instructions.
  

program

• We will start the day at 10.00 a.m. with coffee/tea and sweets.
  
• At 10.30 a.m. we will open the fellowship and will get started on the activities.
  
• Around noon there's lunch, followed by more activities.
  
• At the end of the afternoon we will light up the barbecue and finish the day off with a barbecue dinner.
  

You are free to join the activities or take a seat and cheer on others, whichever you prefer.

Football

If you would like to join the football activities and you are 7 years or older, you can sign up at the CenterPoint on Sunday, or send an email to [email protected].

locatiON

• We are using the club house and fields of korfbalvereniging Koveni in Vreeswijk (Nieuwegein). This is the same as last year's location.
  
• The address is Helmkruid 7 in Nieuwegein. There is lots of free parking available.
• Koveni is easy to reach by public transport: the tram stops next to the parking lot at the stop named 'Wiersdijk'. When you take the tram from Utrecht towards Nieuwegein-zuid, it will be the next to the last exit.
• You can also take bus 74. Get off at the stop named 'Waterlelie'. From there it is about a 7 minute walk.

children

For the children we will have a special program. They will have sports and games depending on their age. If the weather is nice enough, we will have water games. In that case, please remember to bring extra clothes and sunscreen. For the smallest children there is a play area outside and room to be fed and changed inside the club building.
