Policy
Policy plan
In line with our vision and mission, Lifeword Christian Center aims to purchase a building to serve as a Center in the upcoming years, guided by a policy plan that sets benchmarks every five years. This center will enable us to maintain relevance within the community seven days a week, with a strong focus on embracing its diverse cultures.
Our primary areas of focus include social support, debt assistance, integration, language assistance and similar initiatives.
Income
The income of Lifeword Christian Center is obtained through voluntary contributions and donations.
Expenditures and assets
The assets of Lifeword Christian Center are managed by its board and are directed toward various activities, including adult, youth, teenage, and children's programs, as well as community services. These resources also cover equipment costs and building rentals. The positive difference between income and expenses is reserved as a provision for future investments in line with the Policy Plan. Voluntary contributions and donations are held at Rabobank, and specific contributions for the Building Fund are transferred from there to ABN bank."
Compensation policy
The board of LifeWord, comprising the chairperson, the secretary, the treasurer, and the elders, does not receive a salary but rather an (volunteer) compensation. Additionally, the chairperson/leader receives a reasonable attendance fee for preparing and participating in church gatherings and meetings (both internal and external).
