UC27 is the young adults group of LifeWord Christian Center. UC27 stands for ‘under construction to perfection’ and is derived from Philippians 3: 12.
If you’re a young adult and eighteen years old or older, you are welcome to join us for our next meet-up! Send us an e-mail at [email protected] and we'll get in touch as soon as we can. Please know that we have our meetings in Dutch, so a basic understanding of that language is necessary to be able to participate. Our services on Sunday are in English and Dutch, so please join us for the Sunday meetings and meet us there!

The meaning of UC27

With ‘under construction’, we remind ourselves that we don’t have to be perfect to be a Christian. Jesus invites you to come the way you are, and so do we. UC27 is the place where you are welcome and where you can be yourself.
‘To perfection’ means that we want you to realize that God has more for you than where you are right now. The Bible teaches us that He is de vine and we are His branches. Only when you are connected to the vine you can come to your full potential. At UC27 we want to help you not only to reach and stay at that place, but to be connected to the Vine. |

Our vision for young adults
- to reach young people in Utrecht and surrounding areas for Jesus. We want to do that by offering an environment that has Jesus as the deciding person of our culture, breaking every natural and cultural boundary;
- to help young people base their life-decisions on the Word of God;
- to create a space where you cannot only discover, but also use your talents for God.
What happens in our meetings
We meet every other Friday. Once a month a youth service with worship, down to earth teaching and great fellowship with each other. The second meeting of the month we’re having a meeting that we call “the lounge”. This type of meeting is more interactive, where we discuss life issues and - equally important - have fun together.
